Srividhya, the founder and designer of Tulip, is an alumna of NIFT Chennai, the pioneer institute of fashion education in India.
Her fashion journey began in 2002 when she had the opportunity to design for Ms. Chennai beauty pageant
In her prolific career, she has contributed as a designer/stylist to over 1500 television shows across leading channels in South India and more than 100 ad films.
Beyond apparel designing, Srividhya is a passionate craft enthusiast. Her craft works have been featured multiple times on the website instructables.com and in their e-magazine.
One of her strength is her ability to integrate craftwork into apparel design.
She has served as a jury member for fashion shows across Chennai colleges and is occasionally invited as a guest lecturer at her alma mater, NIFT. Srividhya has been recognized as one of the successful alumni by NIFT Chennai.
